Venice was the next city, we only had one day in venice, so we had to pack a lot into a short amount of time. The first thing we had booked was a glass blowing demo, seeing this was truly insane, the talent needed to shape glass the way they did was incredible, I’m sad I didn’t have a photo of this but if you ever go to Venice, you can find examples of the work everywhere. However after the glass blowing demo we were able to find some lunch, Venice is packed with restaurants serving Italian food so it didn’t take us long to sit down and enjoy some pizza!!

The next activity of the day was a gondola ride, obviously you can’t go to Venice and not go on a gondola, I must say it was a fun experience and something I hadn’t pictured myself doing ever so I’m glad I got a chance to do it.

A group of us then went to find some gelato, it gave us a chance to explore more of Venice as we wondered over the canals and through little passageways…not forgetting to rest our feet when we got tired.

Our day came to an end and it was time to get a ferry back to the mainland, the sun was setting so it gave us an amazing chance to see Venice in a different light and it truly was beautiful.

So that concludes my trip to Venice, a wonderful experience with wonderful people to share it with.

Have a great weekend guys,

Aimee 🙂
